Celebrating the opening of the Student Learning Centre and our Donor Wall design at the RVC. HRH The Princess Royal in attendance.

It’s hard to keep a secret about something you are very excited about!

I had the absolute privilege of being commissioned to design a Donor Wall installation for the new Student Learning Centre at the Royal Veterinary College by Norr architects. This was specifically to celebrate and honour the supporters and donors of the college and its Animal Care Trust.

Working with the theme of the One Health world wide initiative studying the interconnectedness of humans and animals – an approach that aims to sustainably balance and optimise the health of people, animals and ecosystems. A theme right up my strasse….

It took a while for the project to come to fruition, and it did so with the help of specialist printers and installers Mödel Signs. But then we had to keep it under wraps until a certain royal was available for the official opening.

Fast forward to March 2026 – the sun shone, my dad happened to be in the UK, so we had a splendid time celebrating the building, the donors, the RVC, the wall – all whilst chatting to the donors themselves, the fabulous RVC team and principal, along with a princess.

Thank you again dear RVC and ACT people and long may the building and the wall last!
