The RVC Animal Care Trust Donor Wall

The RVC Animal Care Trust is the university’s charity that supports education, research and clinical care for veterinary medicine and biological sciences. It is thanks to the incredible support from its generous donors that state-of-the-art hospitals such as at the Queen Mother’s Animal Hospital at the Hawkshead Campus can delivery life-saving and changing animal care. Joanna Potter was commissioned with designing a 6-metre high donor wall installation for the new Student Learning Centre.

Key aspects that inspired the design concept were the One Health global initiative, the different ways that animals are part of human existence and interaction, as well as the impact on our planet’s ecosystem.

It’s opening in 2026 by Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal was a joy to experience for Studio Jouvay’s founder, Joanna. Not only meeting Princess Anne in person, but all the wonderful donors, as well as the ACT and RVC teams, with even her father in attendance! A fabulous project to be part of.
